Will You Go For WINDOWS VISTA?

That's the question. Will you go for Windows Vista? As reported by Philippine Star, today marks the launching of Windows Vista in the Philippines. To quote,
"Microsoft Corp. will officially launch in the country today in a grand event its newest products - Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007, ending the long wait of computer enthusiasts.

Dubbed as the biggest launch in IT history, the unveiling of Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007 will start with a 100-man bicycle caravan from Ayala venue and proceed to Ortigas, passing through EDSA, then on to the SM Mall of Asia where a press conference will be held..."
I have read several good features about Windows Vista, but I am still thinking wether to move from my Windows XP. Will this be a good move in gamers point of view? Let me quote Gamespot article,

"....if you want to play games with advanced DirectX 10 graphics, you're going to have to upgrade to Vista. Windows XP owners will be left behind in the graphically inferior world of DirectX 9 once Vista arrives. The real debate for PC game fans is when to upgrade to Vista. "
"....We still don't know how the first DX10 games are going to look. Giving the graphics engine access to virtual memory will open the door for superhigh-resolution textures, and the geometry shader will make it easier for games to generate complexity; but many of the changes in DX10 will yield performance improvements rather than new graphical effects. The initial DX10 games will look better than DX9 games only if developers actually invest the newly freed power into additional onscreen clutter or more-sophisticated shader effects."
What do you think? One more thing to consider is wether your PC is compatible with Windows Vista. And if it is, then which version should you install? There actually four versions: 1)Business, 2) Home Basic, 3) Home Premium and, 4) Ultimate.
Before taking a plunge, read more about the features of Windows Vista from their official site, http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/default.mspx .
There is also an available software from their site to test your PC and help you decide which version you should use.
